Yes in mark sheet of Diploma the subject of engineering drawing is mentioned in 4 consective semesters (we have studied drawing and drafting in four semesters along with other mechnaical subjects)
In mark sheet of degrees it is mentioned in 3 semsters (as machine drawing in 3rd and Computer aided drafting in 4th and as CAD/CAM & CAD/CAM lab in 5th)
My wife is an MBA from university of Manchester, UK and has couple of years experience in noc 1122. But she doesn't have eca. Can she apply in sinp without eca. I don't see any requirement for eca in sinp required documents.
Also, how long does it take to get nomination in sinp.

Exact. this is the point which scares me a lot. This will be a very close and carefull call.
BTW i think if i put duties of a complete draftsman in my job description then i can get nomination as mechanical design is somehow different from drafting. Moreover in Mechanical engineering design technologists (2232), they say you prepare and interpret conventional and computer-assisted design (CAD) engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for machines and components, power transmission systems, process piping, heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems whilst in 2253 - Drafting technologists and technicians they say you must Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data & Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations.
Difference is there that a drafter cannot interpret existing design or make new design whereas a Mechanical engineering design technologist can do.
This is the most cautious point as per my understanding so far. isn't it ?

Actually SINP officers are not technicals. Generally They are clumsy. They match Degree title with their required qualification (don't match subject wise ).
They match with their exclusion NOC list. What will they get. And will be rejected directly. Without any thought.
Besides, the biggest loss of application rejection is , you never will never show that time period experience for different suitable NOC experience in your future application because they store all the data in records. They will catch and banned for 2 years.

Okay, There are Two Jobs related to that NOC, Technicians and Technologist. I think, then Technician is better than Technologist. They Need qualification for Technician as under, which is not direct related to Drafting subject (it can be managed):-
Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program
or
Four to five years of related experience plus completion of college or industry courses in drafting are usually required for drafting technicians.
