What is the meaning of this?

Means ? 4.4 months....

Seems like those terms (particularly - "2.2 months for EE stream") are way too far from real life: application of mine (EE, submitted January, 5) is "in process" since 11 of January. No additional requests, no changes in app status...

Seems to me, for now nobody pays significant attention to those terms. Just relax and be zen - you have no influence on that

Another Question please, Last month, I have granted a boy, should I update my application by sending his passport and the new forms to the visa office

or I should wait until I get the nomination, if that will happen ?

absolutely no. that means nothing except the fact that "those EE applications which had have been processed in 1 quarter - were processed in 2.2 months". No one states were they of September, November or December intakes. Those terms (IMHO) cover those apps which were selected for processing. But not the apps "intaken in this period".

Which documents did you miss to attach? Was it one document or plenty of ones?

Try to explain your situation through e-mail in a very polite way.

Today I have received an email in regards to the update of my application by adding my son to it.

It said that

This information has been attached to your application.

But, when I checked the application no change has happened.

What is the problem?
