Hi,
For Canada Immigration, I got Passport request on the 1st week of June and send them in the same week by Courrier with return voucher to Canadian Embassy, UAE and they received it in the same week. Already one month is gone but not receiving my passports back. Could anyone tell me how many days it could take more?

I guess your asking this question on the wrong forum. Most of the people on this forum are still trying to get nomination which is like the beginning of the process. I am sure there will be another forum where you can get the answer to your question. Just search well.

it is well mates.
i think the new update is general cos i noticed last night it changed backed to "Application Received" and two other colleagues confirmed it. At this point we can only exercise patience and pray.

[I have an idea, maybe when it was received- in progress means that OASIS website received our information and when they deliver this information to SINP the status changed to application received.

For all those are wondering about status change to "Application Received".

"Application Received" is the first status which you see under "View Submitted Application" tab, earlier there were only this tab and whenever anyone submit their only application, they get "Application Received" status. "Summary of Application" tab was recently added by SINP they mistakenly put status as "Received - In Progress" which was equal to "Application Received" .

Now since they have corrected their mistake and synced both tabs status, your status is showing "Application Received" in both tabs, which is correct and No need to worry about.

The next step will be "In Process"( From date they start working on application until they request other documents.)
