Its funny how SINP sometime behaves though, in 2011 i had submitted my Birth Certificate and my high school certificates with my application. But still they asked for the same documents again after 6 months.

The time you applied there was, I hope there were two options like.. Skilled workers with Job or Family Referral. Because Skilled worker without Job is introduced this year only.
Yes you are right. There was skilled worker as well as family member category with or without job offer. We had to show bank statement if we dont had job offer and we must be sponsored by our family member. But now you no longer required to be sponsored by them but will get 20% marks keeping them on your application. Later on they changed the name to family referral which required job offer, and introduced restrictions to sponsor family at once. The one who was sponsored must be well settled before sponsors can sponsor another family.member; due to mandatory job and sponsoring criteria my brother couldnt apply as my applicant wasnt decided. So he applied this year on new category and hoping to get nominated.

I had applied under Skilled Category !
At that time even registration of job/ position was not required, even then it took 9 months for my SINP....................................lol

Yes. You were lucky that you applied before april..i think your sponsored showed bank balance for you? After april we had to show balance of 10k for 3 months.

I just knew about SINP yesterday. I am interested in applying, but I am not sure if I can make it before the cap of the 250 applications with no job offer is reached, especially that I don't think I can be ready with all the documents before a month. Does the SINP website provide any update on the number of applications remaining to reach cap, same as what CIC does?
