hi mates: newbie to sinp here as my noc is included in OID. I have created EE Profile. and i m planning to apply in SINP - EE. A question i have:

Q) i have 7 years continuous experience in same noc. i am unable to understand Point system to calculate how much i get. there are 2 sections:

a) In the 5 year period prior to application submission date
5 years	10
4 years	8
3 years	6
2 years	4
1 year	2
b) In the 6-10 year period prior to application submission date
5 years	5
4 years	4
3 years	3
2 years	2
Less than 1 year	0

can any one explain how much i score pls....

it's quite straight forward.

you will get 12 points if your work experience is for 7 years in a single NOC and without any gaps.
10 points for experience during 2015-2020
2 points for experience during 2013-2015

hope it is clear now.

Hello everyone. I am very much confused about my situation as of now, so any guidance would be appreciated.

I am planning to submit an EOI under SINP with 82 points. Now, I have worked as a civil engineer for a small firm where I have also worked to prepare estimation takeoffs and appraise running bills. My question is can I apply under NOC 2234, as it is in the demand through EE? Is there a possible chance for objections? Because there is no different learning path towards becoming an estimator. One needs to study the same coursework as an engineer. In the meantime, I am working towards getting my license in civil engineering. Please guide me if you have the knowledge. Thank you.

I received an email to apply for SINP on 31st October 2019 and I submitted the application on 10th November 2019, since then the application status has been 'In Process'. Now that my dependent child's passport has been renewed and I have taken IELTS again (since the previous is expiring soon), how can I update both the passport and the new IELTS results to the 'In Process' application? Or I don't need to update them!
Please help.
