Hello there,

I am a skilled worker and will be applying my PR through Express Entry. My wife is in a end stage kidney failure and is on a 3X a week dialysis. Obviously she will fail the medical, but we dont have any plans for her to come here, only our son who is 12yrs old.

My main concern is, will it affect my application because of her or will the CIC deny it because of my wife's situation? Again, she is not coming here.

I hope i could get a good answers from you guys.

Thanks,

You should post this in the Express Entry section.

That said, if one family member is inadmissible, then all family members are inadmissible.

Unfortunately if she fails the medical due to excessive demand on Canada's healthcare system, then the entire application will be rejected for everyone. It doesn't matter if she accompanying or non-accompanying.

Unfortunately I agree. She has to pass the medical in order for you and your son to be approved. I honestly don't see the point in applying since refusal is guaranteed with that severe a medical condition.

I'm sorry to hear about your wife.
