Should we mention the financial funds available, the annual income , the properties and amount fees paid by SPONSOR(Paren) in SP statement of purpose?

I was told we need to mention financial aspects in one paragraph of statement of purpose but I feel it as unnecessary and kills the story being told cause I think Statement of Purpose is only why we want to study in canada. that college and course and my academic inclination and experiences only. Should I omit that?
