Should update our new status for cec or not???

Hello guys

I applied for cec in april.
My work permit and visitor visa for my wife are expiring.So we applied it again; me and my wife has been approved for open work permit for 1 year.
My question is
Do we need to send new copy of work permits to cec again (espically my wife status changed from visitor visa to open work permit).
Please help me

not required by process. its better to keep your communication with cic to minimal.
