SHould I stay or Can I go ?

I am in Canada 6 years. I am Japanese. I am in process for PR.

My PR( Federal skilled worker) application was received on December 15, 2011. And I have valid visa till June 2014.

Can I go back to Japan for a visit and come back to Canada ? Is there a risk?

I called CIC, he said its fine. cause I do have valid visa. but some people told me that I might can't come back to Canana if I leave Canada.

My lawyer told me its fine I can go japan and back.

but I am just worry what if I cant come back...

I haven't been in Japan 3 years now. I miss family and fiends....I want to go home just for a visit.

Let me know if you know any this kinda case.

If you have valid visa , then nothing to worry

You can come back on same valid visa.

Application under PR visa will not affected

Nobody can stop you from entering again if you have a valid visa. Moreover, you have confirmed with CIC about it. The only thing is that your PR application is in process and if they send you meds or PP request, it would be difficult for your to manage if you are away. Not sure for how long you want to go.

You should be fine. Just make sure you keep track of your emails and someone takes care of your mail in Canada while you are away.
