should I re-enter Canada??

Hi, I'm South Korean citizen who is currently staying in my partner's house in Canada as a visitor status.
My mom has just received Confirmation of PR paper in Korea (I applied for it with outland process)
my question is...
Should I go to Korea or U.S. and re-enter Canada and through custom with that paper?
Or I can apply for PR card while I'm here now?
There is REMARK part on the bottom of Confirmation of PR paper for Immigration officer's signature, date and mine too.

Did they required you to send the passport for stamping too, or just the Confirmation of PR?

No. I received just Confirmation of PR.
For visa exempt nation such as Korea, as of December 2011, they are no longer issue a PR visa or other papers for my passport at the immigration office.

Once u have COPR u can "flagpole" by going to the nearest port via US and turn around and re-enter Canada, Just let them know u are "landing" when u enter the US.

Is it still necessary to re-enter Canada as a landing process with COPR paper? I thought I don't need that process anymore. Is there other method to do that then? By visiting Service Canada office or CIC offices? (I'm in Ottawa, ON)

It says at the top that is expired I hope it will be ok. Can you please update after you call them? I am in the same boat, living in Canada in temp. Visitor visa waiting for PR approval. Good luck.

Oh, I checked the current information of 'OP 7b – Provincial Nominees',

it says same thing.

"To become a permanent resident, any foreign national outside Canada needs to present their
permanent resident visa at a port of entry to Canada.
As per policy decribed in Section 5.1 of this chapter, applicants whose permanent resident visa is
issued while they are in Canada with a valid temporary resident status may:
 contact the Call Centre to request an appointment at a local CIC office to become a
permanent resident at that location; or
 leave Canada and become a permanent resident upon re-entry to Canada at a port of entry. "

So, it's not gonna be a problem at all! Good luck to you too

You can also land at the nearest international airport, you don't need to necessary exit the country to the US, it should be pretty easy indeed _ i'll do that sometimes in October I think!

You can't "land' at an airport in Canada, unless you arriving from overseas.

Just note that you will need to take the CoPR with you for whichever option you pursue.

Good luck Oh, and don't forget to take your B4/B4A if you are importing any of your goods so you can do so now - or later - duty free.

but what does it mean by "Provincial Nominees" on the top? does it mean only those in the provincial nominees are allowed to use this service?

ah ok! thanks for the information, last time I asked on this forum I have been told that it was possible to land at an airport without arriving from overseas, so I'll make sure that I remember that!

I just checked CIC office by phone,
an agent said There is NO way to be granted in the offices.
thus I must leave Canada and re-enter with COPR to obtain PR. Period.
