Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I need to visit India for 5 weeks in July. I applied for OCI a week back but I think I will be cutting it too close. So, I don't want to take any chances and apply for a tourist visa.

I was checking the BLS India site and it said that the tourist visa takes 30 days to process, at least. But when I checked the eVisa site (https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/), it said I can apply for eVisa and get it processed within 72 hours.

So, I am wondering what's the difference between the two? Should I apply for the normal tourist visa or go the eVisa route? Thanks.

eVisa is a better option. Everything is online for it and in most cases you get it within 24hrs.
