Is WES closed on weekends? Expecting an status update on Monday the 1st of May 2017.

My documents were delivered and signed by Z.MAPLE on 27th April. 28th & 29th were weekends, and on 1st May (Monday), the status still remains "waiting for documents". The WES tracking tool still can't track it.
Is this normal? How much more am I expected to wait, normally?

It's not strange to develop an obsession to "checking the WES account" frequently for any updates.
But, does it even make sense checking the account during non-working hours and Canadian holidays and weekends?
I believe the working hours of WES is 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Ontario Time. Hence, it makes no sense at all to check for updates beyond that time-window. Does it?

Can we just send the sealed envelopes ourselves to WES?
I don't want trust officials in my university....they are too lazy and I'm sure might delay the process.

Yippie!! WES acknowledged the document receipt.

A package was received at the WES Documentation Center.

The documents will be transmitted to the Evaluation Department for review.
Please allow three (3) business days for WES to review the documents and to update your status.

Key findings:

• Take a note of WES working/business hours, which probably starts at 9:30 am Toronto Time
• Exclude all weekends and national holidays
