I had applied WES for ECA evaluation recently. Just wanted to know how the timelines for WES in 2017. I do see lot of threads for the same, but those are old (2014,2016).Can you people share your WES timelines ? I am from India (Bangalore) and got all the transcripts signed from bangalore university before applying ECA.
Applied ECA and Paid fees : 7-JAN-2017
Sent all the documents to WES by DHL : 7-JAN-2017 (I had prepared college transcripts readily)
Courier delivered to WES : 10-JAN-2017
Status: Awaiting Documents : 15-JAN-2017
Sent an email using support option about the delay :15-JAN-2017
Staus changed to Document Received - Review in progress :18-JAN-2017
No updates for a week :26-JAN-2017
Sent an email using support option about the delay :26-JAN-2017

That's why I am not in the pool yet. My status was Documents received - review in progress for 5 weeks. I started in November and there was Christmas, Boxing Day and other holidays in between.

oh that's bad. Year end holidays and slow service of WES is another issues. I hope they don't take 5 weeks for us to change the status to "Evaluation in progress"
sorry for asking too much,, but since when it changed to Evaluation in Progress???? I am almost in a similar situation as you,,,, and they promised previously to finish it by 20 Jan,,, yet they have not, and now they promised to finish it by the end of next week
They gave me a completion date of 18th January and stuck to the timeline but they made a spelling mistake in my surname. I emailed them about it. Instead of just changing the surname, it's gone back to evaluation in progress. I was about to enter the pool but then I did not in case the ECA reference number changes.
I know this is slightly offtopic but need suggestion for a friend of mine who is applying in express entry. he hasn't yet started with credential evaluation.
He holds a 3 year master's degree and 3 year bachelor degree. What should he send to WES.
1) Only the master's degree certificate, transcript and marksheets in sealed envelop
2) Both bachelors and masters degree certificate, transcript and marksheets in sealed envelop
3) All Masters, Bachelors ,12th and 10th exam results attested by state board in sealed envelop.
The required documents in WES indicate all documents, but does he has to specifically send each of them by getting it attested by respective institutions who issued the marksheets ?
You don't need 10th and 12th. Rest all you mentioned is correct. I wouldn't recommend WES as they are awfully slow right now. If you haven't paid, opt for another company.
