Thank you and appogies for asking too many questions. .. my application was submitted on may 21..ADR request on october and heard nothing after that. I wanted to apply for GCMS too.. i checked the gcms website.. there are 3 option.. should i apply for gcms notes that has fee of $19??

I heard it is $5, was ready to pay it, but haven't paid a penny for it. Got all I needed for free.

Off topic: for my application to PR btw, I also haven't paid a penny, for all my employer paid.
Even when I paid with his credit card and the application fee increased before I knew it, they told me to pay more and I didn't know if I needed to pay the difference only or in full.
In order to make it clear and not to make any confusion, I paid fully the second time.
Now, until I get FD on PR, IRCC won't refund me the first amount. And my boss is fine with it.
If your boss is not like mine, I recommend you to think again to continue working for them.
Because usually Bosses do not pay for your PR fee, only pay for your LMIA, like in my case, for everything paid my Boss.

@Emily 06 if there is a submit/upload on your GCKey application then you need to upload it. If not, then that is ok. But if you want to make sure you can send a webform for it.

It's only $5. Here is the steps:

- Go to this link: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en - make sure to select Submit a request for information with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)

- On the next page, check the box I have read, understand and agree with the above Privacy Notice. and click Continue
- On the next page, check the box I acknowledge that I have read and understand these steps. and click Continue

- On the next page, click the link Application/Personal Information

- On the next page, answer the following questions then click Continue. Make sure that you place the correct information on the required boxes.

- On the next page (the tricky part) you need to select Access to Information Act which is $5 then click continue.

- On the next page select the necessary options that applies on your application and input also on the boxes the details of your application then Submit. There will be a box to further explain about your request, you can put a brief explanation or leave it blank then click Continue.

- On the next page, you need to submit a consent form (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...s-information-privacy/forms/request-5744.html) Fill-up the form, print and signed it with blue ink. Scan it and upload it to Continue.

- On the next page, you can review your request and if you are ok with it then you can click the check box I certify that the information provided is true and wish to submit this request. Then click Continue.

- On the next page, will proceed to the payment page. Which requires you to pay only $5:

Once paid, an acknowledgement page will show and also an email.
30 days processing time for the GCMS notes to be sent to your email.

There is only 2 option, the free one Privacy Act and the other one is the Access to Information Act which is $5.
