Hello . My friend’s brother has applied from Philippines. His work permit is also refused. His medical was passed on 31st May and work permit was refused in July. But no update after that for permanent residence application

My work permit was approved yesterday after 31 days. Now waiting for progress on PR application. At least I can now work comfortably.

I see, I am curious why they are refusing work permits now as these applications are gone thorough extensive process of community recommendation etc where they vet these so well
