A couple of Ghost updates ( one was on 12th March '24, FD on the 13th evening but still file in process in GC key)
P1: March 14, 2024 ( Replied on email just now)..

Do you mean 12th & 14th March '25?

Because I also got this ghost updates on the evening of Thursday, and Friday, I see that FD date was dated Mar 21st but still in progress.
Did you get your P2 and EcoPR? Congrats if you did! Let me know the dates.

Primary Office: Winnipeg

Secondary Office: Montreal


May 6th, 2024 - PR Application submitted;

June 29th, 2024 - AOR and Biometrics Requested;

July 14th, 2024 - Biometrics submitted;

August 6th, 2024 - Link to GCKey

September 7th - Medical passed and ADR requested and submitted - tax and pay stubs

September 8th - PAL

March 18th - P1 (They asked to answer P1 in within 7 business days)

Question: I’m in Canada, I’m leaving in 4 days For a family trip. I will be back in May 10. Should I answer P1 normally since I am in Canada? And when I receive P2, if during my trip, I inform I’m outside?

We have only 3 days difference, I applied on May 9'24, FD was on 21st March, but on GCkey it still in progress.
I don't know the right answer for your question. Let me know what happened and bout your actions towards it. I'm also curious, as you never know what will be tomorrow.

@BELKA007 - No I did not. But based on your screenshot, FD is already a sign of approval. Only 3 days after FD when I have received P1 & P2.

I got P2 on feb 7 ( replied feb8) still waiting for ecopr. When i login in pr portal account my address shows "still review". How can we know background check is done, etc. i submitted my file in july 2024.

I got my P2 on Feb 10, 2025. I am waiting for my E-COPR. July applicant.
For someone who asked if the background check is done, you won't receive portal 1 & 2 if a background check is still in process. There's no luck involved here. It's all about your documents precision and your education and employment history documents veracity.
