Shall I submit ircc webform to change letter of acceptance and university

Hello,

Please let me know what should I do to update my online application for study permit, I already submitted my application on July-3 with acceptance letter from University of Ottawa, but now I want to change this letter and add another acceptance letter from different university, what should I do?

well, if you do that then what abt your SOP?? because if you prepared one then you may have included all the info about the program at university of ottawa. I would suggest that wait until a decision is made. If approved then login to your CIC acct. There is an option to change DLI - means change institution. It is very simple and easy but you have to wait.

Thanks for your advice, yes you right. I prepared my SOP based on the uOttawa program. So, if I send them a new letter of acceptance, my SOP will not be consistent with the new offer.

I guess I will wait as you said until decision is made then I will change DLI. but I have a question here.
In case I got a study permit based on LoA from university of ottawa, how cic will make sure my new LoA from the other university is also meeting the decision that they made?

once a decision is made then they are not going to go back and compare things again. submitting a LOA does not mean a new application. They will just process it as a DLI change. Lot of students do this so its not a problem.
