When did you applied?


One of my friend has same timeline like you.
He applied on 21 August
His medical got passed on 24 November
After that he also received one Ghost Update.

He called to know the status
They told him that Ghost update was for updated LOA (He uploaded new LOA)

And i applied on 20 aug.. what a coincidence.. did his LOA got updated on portal??

Nothing updates in Portal if you send new LOA by Webform

got gcms notes today no progress yet on file. its mean never apply gcms notes before review starts.

How much time they took to send GCMS notes to you ?

You get a status or ghost update with in two weeks of initial status change.

@jigzyy One of my friend got addtional doc review on the same day as your relative on 13 nov but he hasnt received any update yet. What do you recommend? Should he raise a webform ?

No. Its in progress. If he hasn't received a refusal then it's a good sign. VO might have asked for some additional checks, could be new LOA or verify admission or something else that was pending. Once that is completed, he/she will get a medical / bvl update. Probably in next two weeks.

Medical sent to ircc in mid november but no update.

Not a single update and my semester is ongoing right now, about to end. Really worried. Should I be hopeful?

You applied a week before Fall 2020 session and started classes online? Thats a huge risk for loosing tuition fee if the visa is not approved for some reason.
