Hi, I got my IP2 on January 15th, 2018. I was wondering what exactly will be happening here; how long should I expect to be here in this stage and did anyone else also yet a status update on the same day? I'm FSWO. My AOR is September 21st, 2017 and NDVO is my visa office.

Got an ADR (FBI PCC) on Sep 20 & submitted it on Dec 26.

Been on IP1 since October or so.

If all goes well, you get a PPR shortly after.

Honestly, I am not sure.

It could be either under IP1 (R10 checks) or IP2 (background checks).

Got a letter in MyCIC account from an Immigration Officer some 45 mins ago.

Claimed they did not receive the PCC (I had uploaded via CSE on Dec 26) & gave me 15 days to provide same.

Fortunately, I had gotten an email from CIC on Jan 5 stating PCC had been "verified" & "received by the office processing" my file.

I just uploaded the PCC, the said email confirmation as well as a covering note.

Meanwhile, my profile had simultaneously been updated to IP2 as the mail arrived.

Fingers crossed ...

Hi, I got AOR on 1 Sep 2017 and medical passed on 31 Sep 2017. No update on my application since then. When I sent an inquiry around 1 month back, they said the file is currently in the New Delhi Visa Office. Why it is taking such a long time. Please note, I got ITA after getting province nomination from Ontario

On 17th Jan, my background check status changed from "Not Application" to "We are processing..."
I guess it is now in IP2 stage. Waiting for PPR...

Secondly, my wife's passport is expiring in this August. How should I do with this? Should I wait for the PR approval and then apply for a passport renewal? Can someone advise on this please?

Thirdly, once we get PR, can we withdraw money from the fund that we are showing as "Proof of Settlement Fund'?
