While there is not update to the tracker, but got email from IRCC with instructions to download electronic Canadian Citizenship Certificate. Not sure whether its indication of decision made or not? Any experienced member can reply please.
Within a week you should see oath scheduled for you on the tracker.
Thank you, so is this normal email from IRCC ?
I took my exam on Dec 20th in Surrey and passed it. But the tracking portal is still not updated with exam information. Anyone else in similar situation? Should I reach out to them by giving them a call?
I took the test on Dec 23rd.. I got a ghost update in the portal today that exam is completed..

It's about how to download the certificate once your oath is done. Everyone who selected e-certificate gets it.

I called IRCC and they said to wait for few more days. I hope my test gets updated soon. Don't want to take the test again.
Hey all - I was asked for fingerprints on the 13th and had them done at an RCMP station on the 23rd. So far the tracker hasn't updated (still showing waiting on me to action).
I have the confirmation of the prints being taken.
I understand that with the holidays in between it's not been that long in business days, but should I email the confirmation to IRCC as well? Did others?

Yes, you were right - today our status got updated to have oath on 28th January 2025.

Instead call IRCC and check if they have the fingerprints.

Thanks - I try and avoid calling them because it seems to take a huge chunk of my day, and never sure if they actually have the info.
I'll see if I can call them at lunch and just ask. Thank you.

The problem many applicants face is RCMP confirms they sent the FP but IRCC will say they never received it. Applicant then have to ask RCMP to resend it.
So getting confirmation from IRCC is more important.

Ugh sorry to hear that you got the FP request, I’m sure that adds extra stress, hoping for a quick turnaround.

Takes anywhere between 3 to 12 days (based on the most recent comments here).
Hang in there, your's will be updates soon.

I called IRCC and they haven't received the prints yet (taken Dec 23). Agent told me best to submit a webform with the proof of submission so it's in the file. It can take around a month for them to receive the prints and so far it's been only 2 weeks.
IRCC have the proof now on file and the letter to submit gave me 60 days. So if no updates at the end of the month I will call again.

It's not the end of the world (I am curious as to why they need it), but just adds delay rather than stress.
Congratulations to you though!
My test result and background have been completed Nov 26, and there is no update after that :-(
