I really appreciate you asking. Still no update… Eligibility not started… :(

Timeline:

Aor: Sep 1
Bio submission: Oct 17
Medical passed: Oct 22
Criminality passed & Info sharing complete: As of Oct 29
Background: In process since Oct 17
Security: Not started
Eligibility: Not started

VO Ottawa is really testing my patience with all this silence not even a single ghost update.

Personally, being on a visitor record the last 6 months, it would make the world of difference for me if I can get back to work by Jan 2025, with many things going on.

Can’t wait for the day to see any updates from today

My pleasure man! Really looking forward to a positive decision in your case soon. We've got similar timelines, same AOR but your criminality and info sharing cleared way earlier than me.

When did you call them last? And they told u that Eligibility and Security haven't started in your last call as well?

Please hang in there, I know this wait is too much to bear, but we must stay positive. I have seen people with October AORs getting PPRs/FDs before us but each file and the officer processing is unique. We have to hope for the best by all means! :) we're almost there!!

I appreciate your kind words. I called them on Dec 6 and they said eligibility and security not started..

No ADRs received and I also gave my biometrics the very next day after their request.

Not sure what takes them more time to start my eligibility…

We are on the same boat.
I am also waiting for an update from IRCC.

I am praying for everyone daily.

We got our approval for P1, my wife is the primary applicant and I am the dependent, but we both got the request for P1. Do we both need too reply to the P1 email? or just my wife replying to the P1 email along with my details is enough?

Congratulations! Just respond once with all your combined details from the primary applicant's email!

AOR 8th Sept
BIL on 27th Oct
Medical passed 30th Oct
After that nothing but today I signed into my GC account and on the main page it said Application Updated but when I went in the last update was Medical Passed on Oct 30.
Just wondering if this is a ghost update. I’m not really sure it’s very confusing as I see no update.
Got an update today for additional information required. The letter mentions "Submissions: Current residential address for yourself and each family member included in the application". I am a CEC outland applicant, as my WP expired. Can I upload my passport as proof as it has my India address, and do i also need to provide an explanation letter?.

When i moved to India, I had raised a web form stating about the expiry and change in my status. If anyone knows if this is a good sign?

Update: I called them today and they told me that Eligibility is In Progress and Security has not started.

Tracker says the same (Eligibility and BG: IP, and Medical+Biometrics completed)

Tracker's Eligibility turned to 'In Progress' on 5th December. Best wishes!

@JJ UAE any updates for you??

ADRs are pretty common in these scenarios. Just respond to it stating you moved back to India and they will process you as an outland applicant.

I got an update today on my GCKEY 2 months after I submitted my biometrics. IRCC is requesting "Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature". So-I just fill out the form, print, sign by hand, scan and upload to my GCKEY portal, right? I got unnecessarily nervous receiving this request. Has anyone went through the same?

It's pretty common to receive such an ADR and many applicants did! Don't stress over it! Chances are there might been a gap while you were filling out the 10 year history. They just wanna double confirm I suppose. Fill it up, sign it and then just upload it.

HAHA spoken like a true Malaysian! "Double confirm" HAHA

Omg I can't believe it because I double, triple, quadruple-checked my forms before I submitted back then I can't help but overthink but thanks for the reassurance guys. Another issue I have is–there are information I need to input that has more characters than I'm allowed to type... Would it be weird if there will be a combination of electronically typed words and then written for the information that has many characters??? Should I just write it out manually all the way? To be fair, the instructions on top of the form says "TYPE or PRINT in black ink". I'm sorry my questions/concerns sound stupid/silly

Chances are, your visa officer might have just skipped your forms as it was too much for him/her to scroll through, hence, they just asked for it to bring it up on the pile for better accessibility! :P Don't worry, it's a basic ADR which many receive.
