I have submitted the application end of September.
May I ask why some of you applied in September have already submitted your biometrics? I believe this is supposed to be submitted when IRCC inform you at a later stage.

IRCC was accepting biometrics from previous applications such as TRV. Now you have to submit brand new biometrics for PR application. I think this spreadsheet template still contains those drop-down list options even though they don't really apply anymore to that section.

Yes, i believe June 14 was the cut off date, from which they require separate biometrics done for PR application, even if you did the bio a month ago for TRV. https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...sponsorship-online-paper.804469/post-10582621

got it. Btw, while waiting for the PR, can the applicant apply for visitor visa? My husband has a visitor visa, but it is going to be expired by the end of the month. Can he apply for a new one while waiting?

submitted my wife's application on 15/9/2023 (Pakistan). no AOR received as of now.

Hi Guys,

People who submitted in September will get AOR between 45 to 60 days.
Based on the current timelines in other groups,its close to 60 days

So yes, in November our group will start receiving AORs.

Any expectation that times will increase due to many consulates in India being closed/staff reduced due to the ongoing tensions?
This would put load on the rest of the operating visa offices and therefore slow down the processing time I would assume
