have anyone received email from EST Citoyennete Client / East Citizenship Client (CIC@cic.gc.ca,
Claim processing officer sent this email asking for color copy of Provencial ID. asked to attach the copy and reply in the same email.
Is that even legit? as the subject line does have my case ID C********

anyone else got such emails?

You have to try multiple times to get thru as call volumes is too much.
Early morning(8-8.30 pm) or (3-3.30 pm) EST is ideal time to call.

Hi Everyone,

I submitted my application in September 2023 and passed my citizenship test in January 2024. I also provided my fingerprints and IRCC recieved it in December 2023.

Since January that I passed my test, I got no updates in my Citizenship tracker. Until today that they updated my profile showing that in addition to theCitizenship test, my Physical Presence and Language skills are completed. So the remainings are the Prohibitions and background verifications.

Do you happen to know by any chance that when the remainings will be completed roughly? I mean based on anybody's experience. Because I know case by case is different.

7 Months since my exam completed Nov 26, 2023, nothing since then..
Nationality: Syria, applied for refugee protection to become PR..
Somehow I feel these two are the worst combination and my application is non routine
