OMG, you are completely right and I appreciate this information; just logged into my ECAS and it does show Decision Made.
I believe my IRCC is London, as the test invite came from their office.
#NoMoreAnxietyForNow
that's great! i was confused that my ecas (decision made) update could be a misleading one, but i can confirm that it meant something! some days after that my tracker was updated with various tracks showing completed, and then the oath ceremony updation! even till now, after becoming a citizen, my online tracker says "in progress"
I got the test invite email today, the email seems coming from Scarborough office, I thought my application is processed in Vancouver, since I got the FP request from there
It's crazy how timelines are all over the place.
Congratulations to everyone that is seeing some movement on their files, and best of luck to those working with the Vancouver office like me and waiting for their test to be completed for over 3 weeks now LOL.
I was checking the October spreadsheet, Some people from Vancouver did their test in Feb and it got marked as completed the day after immediately... so hopefully they are starting to process our files soon.
citizenship file processing - linkage with tourist/student visa workload
folks, a question someone asked me. wanted to take views of everyone here.....
are these officers/desks/departments handling citizenship files the same as those handling visas? will citizenship files take more time if submitted when most students or tourists are applying for visas in 2023?
