Wow! You took the test on June 29th and got decision made on 30th?? Less than a day... Montreal office is awesome then...
(unless you're on urgent processing)
Still no test invite!
I've two questions:
1) Who sends the test invites? Local IRCC office?
2) When do you guys think that test invites for September 2020 group could be >90% done? Currently, we are still at 34%. Do you guys think we all will have received the test invites until September?
I was out for a while and somebody decided to pickup my application from the registry, lol!!
Got Test invite and FP request update in tracker today. Test window July 9 to 29. Yet to receive an email regarding both. May not get to do the test until the very end due to travel.

Windsor is sending invites gradually for all of 2020 hence its matter for 2-3 weeks here and there.
Test: As it takes days to prepare(for me it took) hence use this gap to study without any hurry. For me the dates and names were confusing for the first week and it got cleared only during the second week hence dont delay in starting to study at least 2 weeks before the last date.
Once the test window opens, to test the email link works, login and email yourself the test link even when you are not going to attend the test. This will ensure that you dont get into issue of not getting test link during the end of the test period as it takes few days to resolve(sometimes).
Is there a way to contact the local office to speed up the processing?
Can urgent processing be justified with applying for (a) federal job(s) without a job offer?
There are federal jobs I would be qualified for but they need Canadian citizenship to be able to apply for.
Do you guys have any idea whether this might be a legitimate reason for urgent processing? Has anybody had any experience with urgent processing? Your help is truly appreciated.

1) Local office
2) No idea. Not everyone updates or updates on time so use that number as a very rough reference. We'll probably get there, may be in a couple of months. Who knows.

I am referring to "The excel sheet tracker we have for each month" for the years 2020 and 2019. So each month will have some people not finishing at least one stage while the others finish all the stages.
As its getting complex in terms of the way the office allocates applications and in the way how an officer reviews the file (apart from the file itself), the processing time greatly affects some files. So each month we get to see some files left behind for long time.

No. The only portal where you can request urgent processing is the webform.

I don't think so. You'll need a offer that says the offer is confirmed if citizenship is obtained in most cases. There might be edge cases here and there but at a minimum, IMO, you need to be somewhere in the process (shortlisted, for example). However, there is no harm in giving it a try. Try applying for urgent processing and see if it works.
