I was approved for citizenship from Sept 16, 2021 and scheduled for oath for march 16, 2022.
March 8, 2022 - received email for oath ceremony
March 16, 2022 - oath ceremony and email oath of affirmation the same night
March 18, 2022 - citizenship marked completed on the system
I have a question related to the Oath Ceremony and receiving the Certificate.
My profile and my wife's application were updated today to attend the Oath Ceremony on March 25th.
However, we are putting our place for sale in a few days. As you probably can guess, is impossible to know when we will have to move.
I was just wondering if during the Oath Ceremony is it possible to provide an alternate address for the Certificate to be mailed? Or should the address be updated on ECAS?
you can also redirect your mail from Canada Post, it’s easy available Up to 6 months I believe. You can redirect your mail to any Canadian address. I did that when I moved just in case any mail.
I completed my test on March 18 ,2022 being outside Canada and passed it unofficially.I informed CIC that I was outside Canada. I am coming back to Canada in 3rd week of April,2022. I am wondering if I get oath invite before my arrival date, can I request CIC to delay it? Or what I should do. Please advise. I appreciate the help of wonderful people on this forum.

Given you have just recently completed your test, it is highly unlikely you will receive oath that soon.
Your other components, such as Background, Physical Presence, Prohibitions, Language Skills, and Citizenship Test will turn to ‘completed’ before oath is scheduled.
