Does that mean my application is safe, won't be returned?
Finally..... The second line appeared on my ECAS which says, the processing of my application has been started. No AOR email yet though. I have updated the tracker. But not sure what the AOR date would be.

Why do you think it would be returned? Unfortunately, AORs are patchy in that not everyone gets them. But if you are eligible, followed the application guide, paid the fees, etc then there is no reason your application would be returned. Give it time!

those were stuck because of covid, but now immigration department speeding up too, so cant say anything but i assuming within one year everything will finish for sure. after in process- should be 4 to 5 months for test invitation (According to me)
ecas updated: in process asof 2021-02-16.
The first line (application received) appeared asof 2021-01-16 but never receive AOR email or mail till now.
