My aor is 18th september. My biometrics were updated from 2017 and added to my profile on 23 october. Medical passed on 22ndn Oct. so they sent a letter to refumd the videos. However i have heard that the refund is made when application is finalised. I am in IP1 stage and just received the refund. Could it mean rejection?

I don't think it means rejection. I too got my biometric fee refunded since i'd provided during my WP last year. My status is IP2 now.

Oh thanks. Its just that IRCC said that they the amount actually comes back to your account when the application is finalised.

My AOR is September 5 and I gave Biometrics last week, would also be interested how long it might take. Seen people being approved a month after their Biometrics but their AOR was May-July..

What Visa Office? I'm Ottawa FSW outland I have the same AOR and I gave my biometrics on Oct 15th. No updates as of yet. What does your background say?

I don't know which Visa Office, not sure how to find that out, but applied CEC inland. Background check says "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

Now it says: not applicable.
