I called them 2 days earlier they said that they don't have any access to my application as it was sent to local visa office. Today background check changed from ip1 to ip2.

Same thing happened with me. Called them two days ago, agent said 'eligibility passed'. Called them again yesterday, got the same reply as yours i.e 'do not have any access to the application as it was to the local visa office'. Agent refused to divulge anything about eligibility. Strange. Isn't it?

I also have the same reply from the agent, I moved to IP2 on the 4th of Nov and I have an ADR request on 6th of Nov and submitted it on the 6th. I got a mail for its review on 9th and after that nothing. I have been able to talk to the agent twice and all they say is that the application is at the local visa office and thats all. Any idea what's happening?

Sure. Almost same AOR as mine people from Toronto GTA and Hamilton area getting their biometric done. Don't know what's going on.

Sep 28 AOR. Got an email today that there is an update on account.

Now I have a timeline on account and have biometrics listed in the account from my 2014 visit visa application.

Does this mean medical is passed and r10 stage ?

Background check changed to in progress. Medical still says you do not need a medical.

Yes I'd assume your medicals have been passed and biometrics completed since it was taken from your 2014 visa application. I think you have a false IP as I also had "In progress..." for background check. But I got a GU on Monday and it change to "Your application is in progress..."

Spoke too soon. Check after an hour and Now medical Say Medical is Passed on Nov 18, 2020.

And background changed to We are processing your background check.

I am assuming this is IP2.


When do people think that i should request GCMS notes? to get a better understanding of seeing eligibility and criminality status

Totally agree with you. Was wondering the same. Since Im 26th Sept AOR. Yet to receive any update.

Finally received MEP/BIL....
Called up IRCC. They say criminality is done but Security & Eligibility still pending.

Got biometric call today from service Canada.

Gave my biometrics today. Any idea, how long its going to take from now. AOR- 3rd September 2020

I was asked to rescan my PCC and I got another mail that it has successfully uploaded and they have started reviewing it.
