Hi All,

It seems we have got someone very helpful in CIC now My wife got invitation for test today. This is what the status says on the new tracker:

Take the citizenship test
Citizenship test

Waiting on you
You have been scheduled to take the citizenship test online. Read the invitation you will receive carefully.

• You need to take your online citizenship test between July 19, 2021 and August 9, 2021.

@rajkamalmohanram Can you or someone else please suggest when can we expect to receive formal invitation for test?

You'll probably receive an email a couple of days before the test start date.

Hello All. Received Passport request today. I have two passports that I held during the eligibility period. Do I have to merge the two passports into one document? Has anyone encountered issues with file size over 5 MB?

I have 4 passports to submit and it is definitely going to be more than 5BM, just sent an email to them, and no response yet.
Also paid $280 to have all the random stamps in my passports translated :S

I emailed the officer directly and explained my situation. He replied to me it's fine to send them in separate emails. So all good.

Generally, they just ask to see all the pages of your passport.

However, just in case they ask, have the originals of all documents you submitted with your citizenship application ready. At least one applicant was asked to show the original IELTS TRF that they submitted with their application.

Usually a few days after this email. I think I got my notification on Friday and the subsequent email on a Wednesday or Thursday.

Hey Guys quick question .. On the CIC website IRCC indicates that they finalizing applications between May 19th and May 25th, 2019.. Does anyone know what they are finalizing as in is it applications to "DM " status or slotting in applications for test and oath ceremonies..

My ecas just updated to Decision Made for me and my wife but for my 11 year old son it still shows in process…. In the new tracker it shows it is updated today but Oth ceremony still shows not started and all other steps shows completed… what it means to us… are we approved ? So confused….

There is nothing confusing here. It means your application has been approved and the next step is receiving an oath invitation.

Your son is a minor under 14 and doesn't necessarily have to take the oath of citizenship. Status update for the minor might happen at a later time.

Just a question did you see "DM" in the new ECAs or the old one.
