Agents don't speak much and sometimes provide incorrect information. I would suggest you order GCMS Notes. You might see some progress in your file after Sep 1 2020
No but on multiple occasions different IRCC agent provided different information so ordering GCMS notes will help a lot. It has dates in it which will tell when your file will be opened and reviewed next

Got an email from Cic to attend my oath ceremony in 2 weeks. I submitted my application in September and wrote the test before lockdown sometime mid February 2020. I am currently in the UK but will be flying down for the ceremony via zoom. I will need to quarantine for 2 weeks before I fly back.
Thank you guys for all the update. I will keep everyone posted.

@RBatista Congratulations. It seems your virtual oath was completed on 1st October in Ottawa. Can you please share your experience and how many applicants were there in the ceremony? .

Thanks, that is correct, I had my virtual ceremony last week. There were 20 applicants and it was the same as the in-person ceremony: they check your documents, they present you to a judge, you take the oath and then you sign a form. Very straight forward.

Thank you so much. This gives hope to all of us that there is some movement in Ottawa office. Did they ask you to show license and PR card or any other document was also requested?
