Oath ceremony got done today Was a wonderful experience, whole session took about an hour.
There were 42 people in the whole session!
Now waiting for the citizenship certificate - officer mentioned it takes close to 3-6 weeks depending on the printing.

Test invite received: 24 Mar 2021
Test window: 12 Ap - 2 May

I am delightfully surprised to see ‘Decision Made’ update for both my wife and I. Nothing updated inside though. No email either. Hopefully it is positive.
We completed our exams in December 2020/Jan2021 and were waiting ever since.
Visa Office: Winnipeg.

Expect oath invite soon, give it a 6 week wait like i did
1 day b4 i get the email for oath i marked my calendar ( to call IRCC because its the 6th week)
But didnt have the chance to call because i got invited for oath

Perfect advice !

Even in my case, I was told during interview that it will take 2 months or less to get an Oath invite. I marked calendar for a follow up next day after 2 months mark, however I got Oath invite few days before 2 months mark.

I have a question. When we take the Oath they will mail us a Canadian Citizenship Certificate. Is that the one we use in order to apply for a new passport or we need to request one?
