Actually i worked for 6 years in that company but claiming points for only last 4 years. In this case, do you think i should write a LOE for the older address mentioned in my appointment letter as i am not claiming points for this first job title? Although my last 4 years job post is a continuation of my first job post.

Yes, you should explain it in LoE. As per IRCC, you have to provide the entire period you worked for an employer and all designations you held.
