The first thing is that you need to be sure that your security is in progress and this is what is causing the delay. Security only starts after eligibility is passed.

So make sure that your eligibility is conclusively passed.

As regards security, that can take anywhere from 1 months to 18 months.

Have you requested your GCMS notes to see if your eligibility is passed?

Yes I am sure, Eligibility is passed and so is Criminality - it got passed after my interview was conducted in Abu Dhabi on 14th feb. Also Confirmed it through GCMS. Also confirmed through CBSA that I am under Comprehensive Security Screening. All is confirmed... Only as per recent email LVO told me that my file is currently awaiting review by Immigration Officer.. so I am thinking CBSA has sent their report already to LVO and it needs to be checked by the officer? And yes I have read the thread it is very informative, thank you. I just want to know your explanation of 'awaiting review by Immigration officer' and if you could say how long it could possibly take...Thank You!

Hello Sir,
I had a refused application in May 2019 after 6 months of processing time due to missing reference letters, I recently received an ITA and submitted application on 1st September. Medical of my old application was still valid that's why we didn't go for new one, validity of medical would be over in Nov 2019. Should we go for new medical or wait for the request

If you got a medical done for the application you submitted in May 2019, you can use the same medical for this one as it is still valid.

Medicals are valid for 1 year from they date they are done.

So upload the same upfront sheet.

I have another question, I have not received refund of RPRF from application refused in may 2019. As in refusal letter, it was stated that I vll get my refund in few weeks, already passed 3 months. Tried to fill form of refund I got this message
We can't complete your refund request
We can't process your request because one of our office is still working on your Application.

I tried to raise CSE after this which gives the same reply

It can take sometime before your refund is processed. Until the officer working on your file actually closes it the refund is not processed. Send a CSE and ask IRCC to issue a refund.
