We send messages to your account if we need something from you. When we do that, we'll also send you an email to this address:

That has happened due to technical glitch due to maintenance ... Many people have got same email so don't worry

Got the below reply for the webform query. Going by your experience, any idea how long would it take to complete background check and move to PPR stage?

We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

• The background verifications are in process;
• The security background verification is currently valid.
• The criminal background verification is currently valid.
• The eligibility is passed.

All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

Criminality is pending on my non-accompanying Spouse's biometric. There was a misunderstanding between I and my LVO, but anyways, I have now paid for Spouse's biometric and waiting for BIL.

I got today ghost update in my IRCC profile , status changed on BG from "your application is progress" to "We are processing your background check". That means did my eligibility passed and they started the BG check?

But Review of eligibility still is showing "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements".
