anyone else ordered gcms last month? 37th day today and still hasn't arrived for me.

Yes, I just received mine today. I believe I completed my order on the 18th of March (also 37 days ago) but the notes reflect an order date of March 20th. Did you order on a Friday or on a weekend? I think we should take Weekends into account

Called CIC yesterday. The status is "file in queue for review by officer" as per the agent this change happened on April 15.

They keep telling me nothing is wrong with the file. Eligibility has been met since Nov and background check has not been started.

A few of us have received that same message. Keep your hopes up

I just received my GCMS notes today. They are showing that my eligibility has been met, criminality has been passed, Medicals have also been passed but Info sharing has been in progress since 2018/10/01. My security check has also not started. Are there any people on here who have lasted in Info Sharing for this long? What does it mean?

I ordered on 19th March. Processing began on 20th March. Although gcms will not be of much use for me because only my security is ongoing and rest is passed...

I hope you are not in security screening. CIC has some strange work habits. Lord knows how they keep track of all these applications. They seem jumbled up to me!

Yes I probably am being from pakistan and all. But good thing is that as per recent data for biometrics applicants SS is lasting from 4-6 months. So fingers crossed. Nonetheless the waiting is hella annoying. Next month my nine month since aor will start...

I know, we have the same AOR. I don't even know how i've made it this far tbh. Unemployed, horrible living conditions, unhealthy environment. In October I could not have imagined waiting beyond January, yet here I am. It could be many more months still

I'm from Ghana. I had a good Pakistani friend back in college though. I remember us realizing that our countries were similar from the British colonial influence, to the tough economies. This situation will only make us stronger

I have requested mine on March 27th. Still waiting: either for GCMS or PR (trying to be optimistic )

I hope you and me and all who are waiting get ppr soon inshaAllah. This process is not easy, especially when your life is stuck because of it and you can’t move forward..

Never ordered GCMS notes as agent told me twice on phone that security started in March.
Hope not in SS.
IA we all ll get PPR soon.
This wait is really depressing.

Is it not time we force them to adhere to the Procedural Fairness Policy Elements namely:

• Processing without undue delay
• The right to fair and impartial decision-making
• The applicant’s right to be heard
• Whoever hears must decide
• Legitimate expectation
• Decisions must be based on the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Regulations (IRPR)
• The right to reasons
