Just spoke with CIC agent, Eligibility under review, Back ground check in progress, There is no change since nov 1st 2018. My file is in Ottawa. Need to wait more it seems.

Medical passed Sept 27
Sept 27 - IRCC requested RCMP PCC. Any idea why they would request such a thing? I feel like this is uncommon.
Oct 18 - RCMP PCC submitted

Since then nothing... What would you recommend to do at this stage?

Hi There, Any CEC Inland applicants here from Sep 2018 AOR. My file is in ottawa and there is no change/updates since November 1st. Just spoke with an agent. He gave same status as below.

I am 19 Sept 2018 AOR... no movement after medical passed in October. Rest everything is as it was on day 1

Called CIC. They said file sent to LVO on 22nd November

What does that mean... am I in IP2 or still IP1

Any clue how much time it will take from IP2 to PPR . NDVO ?? Is there any noticeable trend or it varies case to case basis.

I am in ip2 since Jan 9. It's been a month. Am wondering how long it would take for PPR, my eligibility is recommended pass as told by CIC agent over call..

Hi Everyone, I called IRCC for the first time today and spoke to a really polite and helpful agent. I was informed that my file is at Ottawa and my eligibility has been met however background check has not begun yet and that she does not have any visibility on when that will start too. Any comments here please on the basis of your experience with LVO Ottawa? Thankyou!

Called CIC today and the agent said background check hasn't been completed yet. Last time I called, eligibility was recommended pass and criminality passed, so I guess he was referring to security not being completed yet.
He said I can expect a positive communication within 14th of March.
