Guys a quick question. My husband and I had applied from the US. We are currently in India. He will be leaving for US next week, but I will be here till the end of March. Is there any way we can email cic and ask them if we can submit his passport in the US and mine in India for stamping?

I officially just received my PPR. Thank you so much for the support by just talking about your own processes. My timeline should be visible on my signature. Hopefully everyone gets their PPR soon enough.

I have diarised to call ircc again on 15th Feb for a last update and if still nothing has progressed I will just carry on with the routine until one day THE mail lands in my inbox
I had put an inquiry and they replied the standard version except this time they said the application was in Montreal local office instead of CIO Sydney which it said last time in November. Does this imply any forward movement ?

Sorry responding this late. I actually copy paste it into word, then download the barcode and insert it. Spent whole afternoon doing the tweak, so it could be fit in one page.
Guys, I have a very specific question and not sure if any of you would have some experience with a similar case.
My family (myself and my wife) reside in Canada. I am holding a study permit and my wife is holding a work permit.
I received PPR letter yesterday. I am supposed to send my passport and my wife's to Ottawa withing 30 days. My wife is currently out of Canada and will be back in 14 days.
I have a very decent job offer from an engineering firm and my job is supposed to start this Monday (Feb. 4). Since my PPR took too long to arrive, I talked to my employer and they agreed to postpone my start date to Feb. 18).
My question is: can I send my passport along with Annex A to get my PR visa asap and then send my wife's when she is back in Canada after two weeks?
