Thanks for your reply. I have never called or emailed IRCC. The letter read ‘This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the review of your application, we require the following - RPRF’. I am still in IP1 and dont think that they have started Eligibility, Security & Criminality check yet. Are u in IP2 or IP1?

I guess after submitting docs, everything which you see is “By-Design” my background check has not started yet.

I tried calling +16139444000 just a while ago. After giving some details on the application I selected the option for talking to an agent. Then it said all lines are busy and afterwards cut the call .

Can someone please share a way to get in touch with an agent for asking details of the application?

If waiting time is too much they don’t place you on hold else they place you on hold like 30-40 minutes or less.

Guys, I need your advice.

My profile has been approved on 8 Jan (CIC call) and still no PPR email, 50 days are left at my profile and my Medical will ends at 1-Sep-2019

Now I got amazing flight offer that will save for me about 1200$ US dollars from my home country to Canada, that flight date is 15-June-2019. Unfortunately it's none refundable. Do you believe that my PPR email can be late till that time?! is it risky to book it?

I would book the flight. At the least, you can use this as a way to put some pressure if it passes 6 months.

You should receive PPR in mid-March, so you should be fine with making travel plans for June, especially considering your application is already approved...

I just received a Ghost update on my profile.

I saw Application/Profile updated for the application. But when clicked on it, nothing is changed. Hope this is referred to as Ghost update.

In your case ghost update was probably for your approval, but CIC took 1.5 months to send you the PPR. This has become a trend now.

Like a ghost.It appears one second and the next second,its gone.

Thus,it leaves you with a confusion.If you really saw it or was an imagination.

I wonder how the first person who ve seen the first ghost update in EE would have felt.Scary

How does ghost update look like

You will just get an email stating your application is updated and login to your online account to check but your online account won’t have anything. It just means that something happened to your file. Someone reviewed it / updated something or approved.

I need to understand that if someone is sending file on 1st of month or any other date of the month, however some people get revert early other people are getting revert late irrespective of the date of submission.

Can someone please explain that how these things work and what exactly is the procedure, Does date of submission matters or not ?
