I don't think you will see anything specific to the FP. I did mine in early December, and can only assume it was received, but nothing in ECAS. I assume the next thing I will see is a test invite...
Same thing with us. I applied on July 21. Appeared for test on Oct.27. Decision made on Oct 28. And waiting for oath. My wife applied in September, ECAS changed to IP on Nov.20. Still waiting for test invitation. We both applied from Edmonton.

It's official - please update my status: "We sent you a notice on December 20, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on February 2, 2018 at 8:33 AM." I received the mail confirmation Friday, 29 December. The interview will be in Parksville, BC on Vancouver Island, and not in Vancouver proper, as my address is in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. I'd like to change to Vancouver, but can't reach CIC as I'm travelling outside Canada. Oh, well!

There is nothing wrong with Edmonton office. I applied in sept (20th.) AOR in Oct., IP Nov 7, FP Dec. 5 and test invite Dec 19 for test on Jan 8.

Saskatoon applicant here as well. Saskatoon is a slow processing centre which doesn’t make sense considering the fact that not many applicants from our province compared to other provinces.
