Ok, I got AOR this morning.
-- This is family of four. Only my wife and I received AOR, each person got an email,, but my two minors did not get AOR. Normal?
--Emails still mentioned that applicants in 14--64 ages need to take a test.
--Emails said there is no book sent to us, since we received this letter by email, not mail. A web link was given to study for the test.
AOR received today, October 11th! Please update my changes when the admin gets a chance.
The only weird thing is that although I included my official name change document with the application (submitted under new legal name), the AOR was addressed to my old name. The old name was the one I had originally used for PR, but even my PR card now uses my new name, so CIC knows about that clearly. Not sure what to do? Probably nothing at this point?

It doesn't say anywhere that it should be written on the degree or transcript that the language of instructions was English, below is the requirement from cic website,
Have you completed a secondary or post-secondary program, in French or in English, in Canada or abroad? If you have, send a copy of proof that you completed a program with your citizenship application. Proof can be your:
diploma
transcript
certificate
Your proof must be:
from a completed secondary or post-secondary program in English or French
a single course done in English or French doesn’t meet the requirement
i had few of my friends whos application got rejected due to language requirements even though they submitted their transcripts and their medium of education was in English. And personally even though i myself have completed MASTERS and the program was in English, i went for the language test and submitted the copy of the result in my application.
So its a personal choice whether to take the risk and delay the application process or ovoid it.
