Brother my wife was pregnant when I get the medical. So what I did when got MR then immediately I informed my VO about the pregnancy and also anticipated date of delivery. So he informed me not to do medical now as I can do medical later with my wife after delivery of baby and can send all document which requested (i.e. PCC, Updated Information chart fresh passport bio pages) along with MR and Baby's additional documents. So I did what my VO suggested me to do. So after delivery I finish MR and then send all documents to LVO one time on 18/02/2015. So on 09/03/2015 they added my daughter in my application and sent MR for baby. Which I finished on 15/03/2015.
I suggest you to wait for your MR. when you receive it, then immediately inform your VO about pregnancy so he will give you time to finish the MR along with baby's documents.
LVO is asking below mentioned documents normally for baby,
Documents for your new baby:
Processing fee of $150
2 passport photos
Long form birth certificate
Copy of passport biopage
New Proof of Fund (as no. of family members increased)
I have also received my MR 1st May 2015 and currently my wife is also pregnant and EDD 1 week Dec 15. I have contacted with medical centres for the test and informed that my and my 3Y daughter can do the complete medical test and my wife Chest R-Xay will be deferred. Still now we did not do complete the tests. If my and my daughter's medical completed does LVO issue the visa to me and my daughter or LVO will wait for my wife and newborn's medical to complete? Which will be wise whether to complete medical now for me, my daughter and wife's (X-ray pending) OR inform LVO about my wife's pregnancy to hold all of our medical? Please advise..

Getting a job is not a big deal in Canada. Everything depends on your attitude. As a Civil Engr, you have to get licensed before start working.. It may take some time. Mean while you can work in civil related positions or study. Accept the job that you are getting. Here employers are looking for some kind of Canadian experience. DONT WORRY.

No update so far.
I changed my job last month. Do you think I should update LVO rightaway? The thing is my current HR manager is on annual leave and will be back next week. Also, I am still awaiting all documents from my previous company.
Do you think it will affect my application if I update LVO?
Just in. Just wanna share that I have already received my MR/RPRF yesterday, 12 May 2015 3:44pm (UTC +8). No additional docs. requested.

Sent the required docs for adding my newborn child to the application via courier. Also I mailed them yesterday attaching scanned copy of all docs..!! Courier tracking status shows that it has reached Colombo and is "Out for Delivery" as of 7:45 AM.
Received MR request for my child at 9:18 AM today morning...It's super fast..!!

Just couple of points to note, it might help others
* they accepted my PCC which was 5 months old
* although I asked for my visa to be printed in KSA in my RPRF email. The PPR seems to be a standard email and it still asked me to send my passports to Ottawa
* my ECAS is still showing 3 lines
Application received 26 sep 2014, visa office London, cc charged 13 December 2014, per email 8 January 2015, ecas in process "we received your application for permanent residence on 26 September 2014”. No updates after 8 January 2015. Is this normal? :-\ :-\ :'(
