Two weeks back, Ottawa requested for my Wife's RCMP after I submitted Medicals in first week of Dec, I already had applied for both of us earlier so I sent those right away.
I was wondering if someone could explain why did they specifically ask for my Wife's RCMP and what's my application is probably going through...?

On completion of Medical, next steps security and criminality check .During they have found few attributes that closely matches with your spouse. To eliminate, they request to carry out RCMP – finger prints. It should be fine, should receive by 5 business days from RCMP

Thanks for explanation, actually I already received RCMP in Dec so I have sent it to Ottawa on 18th. Haven't heard anything back yet. I was wondering how long could it be before I get decision made etc.

I am under "grzesiek" name in the spreadsheet. I sent application last March, PER was issued on Apr, Start processing app: December 2013.

They did not ask for it. However, I must to mention that I sent them RCMP check without request a few months ago (together with a copy of my new work permit).
