Guys, check this out...
wayback DEC. 2010, Buffalo immigration replied my inquiry as follows : Permanent resident applications are created in our database and acknowledgement of receipt letters are sent to the applicant within 30 weeks of receipt. Any application submitted without the required documents and information will be returned to the applicant.
April 18, 2011 response : The creation of permanent resident applications in our database along with the mailing of the acknowledgement of receipt letter is taking a minimum of 30 weeks. Any application submitted without the required documents and information will be returned to the applicant.
*Does it mean timer starts 30 weeks after receipt before you receive AOR/Med request??? The next question is till when???

I submitted my application (federal skilled worker category) to the Buffalo office in Nov 2010. And haven't heard anything from them either. It's been more than 6 months...
