Hi.
I hope everyone is doing well. I am a prrmanent resident here in Canada. I have a dependent child (declared) in the Philippines. I went home last May to get married after I got approved on my PR. My current spouse is not the biological father of my dependent child. I want to sponsor them both now.
I already have a notarized sign declaration form from my son's biological father.
Question is, should I submit a separate application for my spouse and dependent son? Like 1 application for my spouse and 1 for my son? If so, can I submit my son's application now and then next month submit my spouse's application (We were still waiting for our marriage certificate in the philippines as it takes 3-6 months to release the certificate for newly weds).
It is okay to submit 2 separate sponsorship applications at the same time?

i hope someone could help me. Thank you! ❤

You need to submit separate applications. Your child is not your spouse's dependent so this can't be done through a single application. Yes, you are fine to submit the child's application first.
