Sent Passports to Ottawa after PPR in September

Just got an update in details section of my cic .... Approved. Hopefully return tracker will activate tomorrow....

I sent my PP today Oct.1 with canadapost xpresspost 2-day delivery from Vancouver, BC.
I'm wondering if I could get my PP back before Oct.20. I'm planning a trip back home and I need my passport for that.

Should I delay the trip a little bit for my peace of mind?

I think you will get it before 20th, wait until 14th and then make a call.

Hi, I sent mine from Vancouver on the 23rd Sept, arrived Ottawa on 25th Sept.
MyCIC has been updated to 'approved' today (so five working days after receipt).
I expect I'll receive my CoPR by Wednesday next week...

I think you should be fine, I do believe someone will have to sign for it so if no one is home when delivered it might be another day before you can go and pick it up from Canada Post.
