Sent application but forms are updated

Hi all

I sent in my sponsorship application to CIC on May 9, 2013. I checked the forms one night before sending it to CIC and the dates on the bottom of my application forms matched of those on the CIC site (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp). Now I just checked and noticed that two forms have new dates (05/2013) at the bottom of each form. The forms affected are:

Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking
Part 3: Information guides - India

Will CIC return the application to me because of this or is there a grace period in which they allow older forms?

Last time they did some changes there was indeed a grace period, so it's likely to be the same.

Thanks Sweden. Where did you read about the grace period?

last year CIC changed the forms in March/April. On the website, it indicated until when the old forms would be accepted.

I just read in another post was an update in two or the immigration forms, I already filled out and printed IMM11344E and IMM008E. In the Sponsor Undertaking one I saw they added a part for the co signer details, we don't have a co signer, and the IMM008 but of course the date in the botton of it is different.

Maybe is a silly question but do I have to fill out now the new ones and print them again? Non of the co signer part apply to me.

:'( I'm getting desperate because is taking me so long to fill out this, plus I have no printer and I just had the chance to do it, but i don't think I can print them again there.

I would appreciate any answer.

But if you haven't sent in the application yet, you should send in the updated forms or else the application will be sent back to you. Then you have to wait longer. I'm sure there are printing places in your city where you can get the forms printed.
