i am in Australia on temporary visa, I just realised that I applied to CIO NS 1 month ago. at that time my previous student visa was valid for 10 months
i just read CIC guide that shows we need to have at least 1 year lawful entry from where we apply from, last week my visa was extended for 18 months till 27/11/2011,
how can i update this to CIO before they return my application,

are you applying thru Austria? did you mention in your application your visa expiry dates? as for my understanding there shouldn't be a problem, - you have stayed enough in Austria to apply thru them and also they can always check whether your visa was extended or not, or at least they can ask for confirmation of your current visa.

Hi Suin thanks for answer but I am applying through Sydney, Australia
On application it doesn't ask for validity of your visa, but I have sent them copy of my visa, which was having only 10 months remaining, now I got another visa for 18 months,
Does anyone have an idea how can i update this, thanks
