I am ready to send my application package. My current country of residence in Australia. Country of citizenship is India. I am living in Australia for the past 2 years with my visa expiring in 2015. My wife is my dependent here and she just landed in Aus about 7 months ago, however her visa is valid until 2015.
Now I have selected Sydney, Australia as the visa office convenience at a later stage such as for interview and sending passport for stamping. My question is that I am living here for more than 1 year but my wife us not, so can I still select Sydney, Aus or do I need to select New Delhi?
Moreover, where the processing time would be less in your opinion?

To apply through a different country, you need to have been admitted to the country for at least a year; you don't need to have lived there at least a year.
You can select Sydney but be aware that CIC sometimes sends it to the country of nationality anyways.
At the moment, looking at the FSW processing times, Sydney is 17 months and ND is 16 months.
