Do not use the online system for the application, it has no any feedback till today since I submitted the application in June.So I sent all my paper-based application on July 01, and I got my temporary application number on Aug 09.

Just curious here, but what if you got it quicker because of the online submission?

sorry I don't think so,just checked the status for my on-line application, nothing has changed.i believe for anyone who apply by mail the paper application will get a temporary number in a short time. but that doesn't mean you are in progress.still need to wait for the formal number.this feels taking forever

be patient, I'm waiting almost a year now and all I've got is a temp number. the processing time when I applied was 22 months now It's 36. so wait Is all we can do. best of luck

Since 2020/3-4, there hasn't been any 'permanent' application number issued.
(One or two members here said they've got the perm one, but the majority still hasn't)
You will probably receive a temporary application number first, after a short while.

Thanks. It seems that we are gonna wait for a looooong time to even get a AOR. Sigh...
